Polka - Hate the Music, Love the Dots - 50% off

I'll admit it.  I do feel a tiny bit smug about the polka dot renaissance that's happening this year.  I've been wearing (and loving) polka dots for years now - it's a great alternative to the ubiquitous plaid - and I pushed them pretty hard on the runway this season; here's a shot of our opening look:

Bustle FW13 Opening Look.jpg

This season, we found some great corduroy polka dot fabrics in 100% cotton from one of my favourite mills out of Brazil, in a few different colour ways - all great, if you ask me...

Apparently, Armani and Krisvanassache found some polka dots too.  Check out Clooney on the cover of the recent Art Issue of W Magazine (wearing Armani)

Krisvanassche went full tilt on the dots too.  Just ask Industry expert/fashion blogger Christian Dare, or check out Krisvanassche's (and Bustle) on his Latest Entry

All this polka music has inspired my Pick of the Week.  Our Panel Blazer in grey polka dot (incorporating panels of faded fabric - see our opening look, above) is now 50% off on bustleclothing.com/shop; here's the Direct Link

In fact, we also have our Classic Cut Shirt available in grey polka dot, and our Classic Cut Pant available in faded grey polka dot.  Because we love you so much, if you like dots as much as I do (unlikely), e-mail Alexandra for a discount code on the pants and/or shirt, and we'll give you 50% off those too.

Hurry hard.  Quantities are limited.

Shawn.

My Weekly Pick ... 50% off

My Pick ...

Crazy as it may seem to those who aren’t closely associated with fashion’s retail production cycle, I’m in the process of designing Bustle’s Fall-Winter 2014 collection.

In reviewing the FW14 shirting fabric options - whether it’s from the Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, or Brazilian mills - I’m consistently drawn to the softer, more flannel-like  finishes.  Maybe it's the weather.

With the onset of our current cold weather in Toronto, I’m now looking in my own closet for this kind of soft-hand shirt.  Hence, my weekly pick ...

Check out our weekly feature: The double-face cotton flannel shirt (50% off - this week only).  Classic grey flannel on one side of the fabric; grey/purple plaid on the other side of the fabric.

This piece looks great under almost any jacket, and worn casually on its own with the sleeves rolled up, adds a little pop of contrast/colour.  And it’s cotton flannel - this baby keeps you cozy and sharp at the same time ... what more do you want?!

Drinking and Shopping ...

I love these events.  Once per season, we team up with our favorite retailer GotStyle to bring you great savings on some great menswear ... and of course, a few drinks.

This Thursday (November 14th), we're hosting an exclusive Pop-Up Shop event from 6pm-9pm at GotStyle Distillery, and we're giving you 25% off all Bustle pieces! Legit.

We've also teamed up with some great Canadian accessories designers -  Stolen Riches, Custom Projects, Sully Wong, Monte & Coe and Vitaly - all of whom are offering 10% off from Thursday to Sunday.

If you can't make it by the Opening Night party on Thursday, to share a drink with yours truly while you shop the new collection (along with a few one of a kind runway samples), be sure to stop by before the weekend is over - the sale runs until Sunday.

Allright, that's enough; if you want to know more, get off your ass on Thursday and come down to Gotstyle Distillery.  Maybe you'll fall in love.
